1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Pyre Fitness, operated by Pyre Fitness LLC ("Pyre Fitness," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the Pyre Fitness mobile application and related services (the "App").
By downloading, creating an account, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Pyre Fitness.
2. Eligibility & age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pyre Fitness. By using the App, you confirm that you are 13 or older.
If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The App is not intended for children under 13.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@pyrefitness.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
You may not share, sell, or transfer your account, and you may not create an account using false information or on behalf of someone else without permission.
4. Medical disclaimer & assumption of risk
Pyre Fitness is not medical advice. The App provides general fitness, exercise, and nutrition information and gamified tools. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical, nutritional, diagnostic, or professional health advice. Content in the App — including workouts, run missions, coach notes, calorie and macro targets, and AI suggestions — is for general informational purposes only.
Consult a physician first. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or have any heart, metabolic, or other medical condition.
Assumption of risk. Physical exercise and running carry inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury. You acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks. You agree to exercise within your own ability, use proper form and equipment, stay aware of your surroundings during runs, and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other warning sign. You use Pyre Fitness, and train, entirely at your own risk. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
5. Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal
Pyre Fitness may offer paid subscriptions that unlock additional features. The following terms apply to subscriptions:
- Billing through app stores. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your Pyre Fitness account does not cancel a store subscription — you must cancel it through Apple or Google.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases.
- Price changes. We may change subscription pricing; changes apply to future billing periods and will be communicated as required by the app stores and applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
Pyre Fitness includes social features — allies, squads, feeds, stories, comments, challenges, and leaderboards. To keep the community safe and motivating, you agree not to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users.
- Post content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate, or that sexualizes or endangers minors.
- Promote dangerous, extreme, or disordered approaches to exercise, eating, or weight loss.
- Post spam, scams, advertising, or misleading information.
- Cheat, falsify activity or stats, or manipulate quests, streaks, leaderboards, or challenges.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the App or its infrastructure.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. User content & license
You retain ownership of the content you create and share in the App, such as feed posts, comments, photos, and challenge or squad activity ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant Pyre Fitness a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the App and its features. This license ends when you delete the User Content or your account, except for content others have re-shared and copies retained in routine backups for the period described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. You are solely responsible for your User Content.
8. AI assistant disclaimer
Pyre Fitness includes AI-powered features, including the in-app assistant Pyro and AI meal scanning. These features generate automated suggestions, estimates, and responses.
AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Macro and calorie estimates from meal scans are approximations, and AI assistant responses are general information — not medical, nutritional, or professional advice.
Always use your own judgment, verify important information, and consult a qualified professional before acting on AI-generated content. Pyre Fitness is not responsible for decisions you make based on AI features.
9. Intellectual property
The App and all of its content that is not User Content — including the Pyre Fitness name, logo, artwork, banners, titles, campaign stories, software, and design — are owned by Pyre Fitness or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App except as expressly permitted.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see our Account Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual-property terms — will continue to apply.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that data, maps, trails, stats, or AI output will be accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you use the App at your own risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pyre Fitness and its operators, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or for any personal injury arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The Service is provided by Pyre Fitness LLC. The state and federal courts located in the State of Mississippi will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of Pyre Fitness after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
