Delete Your Pyre Fitness Account
You can permanently delete your Pyre Fitness account and associated data at any time. Here are both ways to do it, and exactly what happens after.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside Pyre Fitness:
Open Settings
Launch Pyre Fitness and go to the Profile tab, then open Settings.
Scroll to the Account section
In Settings, scroll down to the Account section.
Tap Delete Account
Select Delete Account and confirm. The full in-app path is Settings → scroll to the Account section → Delete Account.
Once confirmed, your account is scheduled for deletion and you will be signed out.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email instead.
- Email support@pyrefitness.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the email address or username tied to your account so we can locate and verify it.
We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account. Once verified, we will delete your account and confirm by email.
What happens when you delete
Deleting your account removes your account and its associated data — including your profile, workouts, runs, stats, XP and progression, quests, and squad and feed activity — from our active systems.
We may retain limited information where retention is required by law, or where it is necessary for security or fraud-prevention purposes. This is the only data kept beyond deletion.
Backups. After deletion, residual copies of your data may remain in our encrypted backups for up to 45 days before they are permanently purged. This matches the retention window described in our Privacy Policy.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep a record of your data, export or save it before you delete.
Important: subscriptions are separate
Deleting your Pyre Fitness account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Apple App Store and Google Play subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple and Google, not by Pyre Fitness.
To avoid further charges, you must cancel your subscription separately:
iPhone / iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Pyre Fitness → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pyre Fitness → Cancel.
Cancel your subscription before deleting your account so you can still reach the store links easily.
